I don’t want to scare you, but we are one week away from Martha’s official declaration that we are IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON! Costco may have put their lights, menorahs and tinsel out in September. That doesn’t count. I am the official starter, and I say we’re officially on the clock next week.
Since this is the gift-giving time of year, Chris and I want to share some early “presents” with you each week through the end of the holidays, things we’re thankful for in our business—things you probably appreciate in yours also.
And when you integrate these gifts into your business, our gifts to you become your gifts to you.
Gift One: Your clients are a gift to you. Treat them as the most precious asset your business has…because they are.
What do you know about your most valuable asset? Who are your best customers? Who bought the most from you, spent the most with you, recommended you the most…just laid some serious lovin’ on ya?
If you don’t know, find out right now. There might not be a more prized bit of knowledge in your whole, entire business. These clients make your business. Without them…well…who knows what you’d have.
Make the list. And say “thanks” to them. Just a simple “thank you” goes a long way to solidify a budding relationship.
And so it is.
Go forth and do great things,
Martha Hanlon and Chris Williams
