Do one thing for more customersHere’s something very “un-business” to say: Sometimes you don’t need no more stinkin’ information.

Many of us believe that more information is better. We’ll have a perfect product when we work on it harder, get more data on how to put it together.

Many of us work with the conceit that more information is the solution to our problem. When I get more education, attend more programs, read one more book, or check out one more source, everything will be great!

But let’s be honest…you are overflowing with info, and are you really doing anything with all that you have?

You already know what you should do. I’m a bit overweight; I know I “should” eat better and exercise more. Some people carrying big credit card debt know they “should” avoid the next unnecessary expense and go earn more. You might already know that you “should” be marketing and selling every day, but…

…you still seek out more info as if the next tidbit will unlock the problem, change everything, and make all the tumblers fall into place.

Yes, information matters. You need some information so you don’t go sailing off a cliff, so you point your business in the right direction.

But your mindset matters more.

Routinely, when we ask people what the one big thing is that stands in the way of their success, they say “ME.” The caps are theirs, not mine.

I’m betting you can put down the book, stop buying the next program, eliminate the next bit of on-line research.

Instead, use that time to have a conversation with yourself. Would you be willing to just go do one thing…one thing…that you’ve been putting off because you wanted more information?

Just one thing.

Then tomorrow, do one more thing.

Most of us are in our own way. And our mindset is a tough thing to conquer through big steps.

But with tiny steps—nano steps—you’ll begin to master your mind and in turn, master your success.

Go forth and do great things,

P.S. BTW, share with me what your one, nano step will be today.
