Let your mind soar like a bird and discover new ways to attract customers

When you own a business, it’s a bit like having a child.  You have responsibilities.  You monitor who they hang out with.  You set goals, and you have a plan.

Chris and I talk to you all the time about having a plan for your business.  Without one, the business wanders, arriving at any destination, rarely one of your choosing.

But, I also do not want you to get carried away with planning.

Wandering creates your ability to fly.

So act bird-like.  Give yourself time to soar and stretch without knowing exactly where you’re headed or where you’ll land.

Birds don’t understand things like holding back or only investing for a certain return.  Give yourself freedom to forego always seeking out the guarantee.

How often might we all cripple ourselves by not letting chance, with all its risks, show us a new and creative way?  How often do we stall because we won’t open our wingspan fully?

Plan as you should to know where you are headed.  Try as you should to plan and gauge your destination.

Do not forget to fly also.  Without direction.

Your ability to learn, to see new things, to have new opportunities will open up before your eyes when you give yourself time to fly.

This is key…in always seeking out guarantees in your choices you snuff your spark of discovery.

Go forth and do great things.
