Bob had no more time.  He was “up to here.”  He felt he couldn’t even take a moment to breathe.

He was up early and to bed late.  He worked really hard on his business every single day.

Yet, he wasn’t experiencing much success, despite all that hard work.  That made him exhausted and in a bit of a foul mood most days.

Bob decided he just needed to stop doing some things.  Get some time back in his day to feel more human again.

He looked at everything and decided to cut the time he spent…wait for it…

Selling.

Yep, he decided he had no time to sell or find sales people to sell for him.

He didn’t have time to sell because he was too busy moving the office, fixing his website, updating his product, calling for speaking gigs, figuring out his landing page, working on his technology and delivering to the customers he had already sold…before he decided sales was the thing to cut because it was taking too much time that he didn’t have.

Perhaps you can relate to this true story.

Many of you might feel this way…you have no more time…for anything.

You get up early.  You stay up late.  Yet, your “To Do” list never gets smaller.

Someone says “You know what works?  You should really be doing x.”

You think, “Right.  Like I have time for one more thing.”

If you’re feeling pinched by time, or overwhelmed or just flat out have no time at all, it probably is time to evaluate what to stop doing.

If you’re frustrated about why you aren’t getting better results, or even a little depressed by your results, or stressed about the money that is (or isn’t) coming in the door, it is time to reevaluate what you’re doing

But unlike Bob, you’re not going to choose to stop selling.

Selling is the ONLY thing you should be doing.

Stop everything else.

And if you say to me, “Martha, I have no one to sell,” then the ONLY thing you should be doing is marketing to get more prospects to sell.

I’m not telling you this because we are marketing and sales experts.

I’m telling you this because if you have no time…if your results are less than you want…then marketing and selling are the only two activities that will change both of those.

Stop everything else. Everything.

Except marketing and selling.

Then your results will change.

And you can take that to the bank.
