Hard to believe it’s mid-February, and we are half-way through the first quarter of 2013.
How is your business doing? Are you ahead of your revenue targets? Please tell me you have revenue targets!
I ask because one of the best ways to have the 2013 you want is to have a great first quarter. Making or exceeding your revenue goals in January, February and March takes so much pressure off the rest of the months.
In January we shared actions you could take to get the month rolling. We want to share some February actions here.
Think about only one thing right now—only one thing because it is more thoughtful, right brain-oriented than left-brain “do” leaning.
Freedom from something isn’t the same as freedom to do something. One is about escape; the other is about mastery.
You are free to make your life what you want, to make your business what you want. You have the freedom to master this business you created.
I want you to think…and act…from the perspective that you have the freedom to do what you want rather than looking at your business as freeing you from your j-o-b or debt or something else.
You have the freedom to do something special through your business. With the days left in February choose just one thing you want to concentrate on mastering.
Perhaps it’s getting on the phone and following up with prospects. Maybe it’s mastering your social media marketing by really digging in and communicating. Possibly it’s blogging every few days about something that will really attract readers.
Just choose one thing. Master it. As this is will deliver the freedom to do something very special.
Go forth and do great things,
Martha Hanlon & Chris Williams
P.S. If you don’t have your 2013 revenue targets or much else planned for 2013, here’s how you can change that now.
