stray or return to getting customersWe’ve entered that serious time of the year.

September. October. November. December.

Diligent business owners awaken to the realization that only these few months separate us from the end of the year.  Only a few more months remain to achieve that goal we set for our business what seems like a long time ago.

Today, we sit at the beginning end of the big push to meet the goals we set out for ourselves.

Perhaps those goals stretched you, but you could see them, see yourself accomplishing them.

Yet, we stray.  We doubt.  We dally.

We all stray sometimes, at some moment.  And the moment we stray from where we are, we create a tension between two places—where we are and where we are thinking of being.

This tension blocks us from believing in our goal, believing in our success, believing we can find more customers, believing we sell more, believing we can increase our business.

This tension causes us to stop and doubt ourselves, prevents us from being in the action, causes us to stray from the path we desire to be on because we are split in our attention.

For each of us, straying from where we are is human nature.  But so is the coming back.  We cannot let the straying stop us from coming back and acting.

That we stray from our moment is not surprising.  The more crucial thing is that we return.

Where have you strayed?  Commit yourself to the return to your goal and make your year the success you want it to be.

Go forth and go great things,

Martha and Chris
