People can find the talent in just about anything but themselves.
Are you one of those people?
You can never truly admit that you’re awesome because that would make you an ass…in someone’s eyes. Maybe yours.
And your lack of belief in your awesomeness interferes with the success of your business.
Yet what you can do is see what makes the next person awesome.
Take Ray. He’s driven. We need driven people, or the lights go out and the ice cream melts.
And we need people like Ali. This woman has wisdom to offer. We should listen to her some time. We wouldn’t regret it. She’s out there trying to connect even though she doesn’t have to.
Paul? He’s a shaman. You ask him to pass the salt, and you get a bowl of soup.
We’re all better than we think we are. You’re just not designed to believe it when you hear it from yourself.
So everybody…do me a favor…look to the person in the mirror. I want you to extend to that person (that would be you) the same compassion, drive, wisdom, support and awesomeness you extend to lost puppies, doe-eyed kids and Warren Buffet. I want you to say to that person (that would be you) “You’re awesome.”
Apply your awesomeness. Because you are.
Go forth and do great things,
Martha Hanlon and Chris Williams
