Hey, I’m not trying to trick you into reading this.

And I’ll make this fast.

I’m trying to ease your feeling of being overcommitted, of having too many things on your plate, of running from one thing to another.

So let me get right to today’s point (as I promised to be fast)…

…stop letting other people set your agenda.

If you’re a slave to your email, those people are setting your agenda.

If you return calls immediately—often interrupting something key you were doing—those people are setting your agenda.

If you drop a note on Facebook and then find yourself checking out posts and offering comments, those people have just set your agenda.

If any, or all, of this is happening to you, then I have to ask you…

…do you even remember what YOUR AGENDA IS?

Or is it lost in a sea of busy, but not productive, of swamped but not moving forward?

Set your agenda.  Decide your one goal for the rest of this year and then ONLY DO THINGS THAT LEAD TO THAT GOAL.

Go forth and do great things,
