find more customersThis seems to be the Achilles heel of just about every entrepreneur I know and work with.

We push-push-push, go-go-go and yet hundreds of things remain on our to-do list.  So we look at that long list of things we haven’t gotten to and push-push-push a little more, a little harder.

That’s certainly the way we accomplish our objectives.  Yet there’s something else that will get us across our finish line, too—not an alternative path, but an important one nonetheless.

Celebrate.

Most entrepreneurs I know just don’t celebrate their victories—probably because there is always something more to be done.

So today I want to ask you to c-e-l-e-b-r-a-t-e!

Turn around and look where you were three months ago.  How much have you accomplished?

If it’s as much as I think, can you put a day or an evening on your calendar to rejoice about your success so far?

And if you haven’t gone as far as you’d like, not reaching your end game as you envisioned, then ask yourself what you’re going to do differently to get different results.

We’re at a significant moment in the calendar year.  Either you’ve got six months to the end of your 2013 objectives, or you’re starting fresh if you live in other parts of the world.

How about a day, an evening, a moment of celebration for the progress you’ve made?  Knowing what you’ve accomplished already will give you a boost on those days that seem to challenge the best of us.

I lift a bottle of water to your good deeds. (I’m about to head out on a bike ride, so water is my best celebration liquid…right now!)

Go forth and do great things,

Martha Hanlon & Chris Williams
